Events
At the heart of the Old Ardinians Society are the many clubs, activities and events that are organised and attended by OAs. The Football Club
The tradition of a soccer match between past and present pupils was established in the 1860s. The fixtures were regularly reported in the Annals, leading to the formation of an OA Football Club in 1887. This was a loose arrangement, being formally organised with the formation of the OA Association in 1906.

The Cricket Club
Cricket was introduced soon after the school opened in 1858. The ‘St Saviour’s Cricket Club’ was formed in 1871, when the first Old Boys match against the School XI was played. Cricket proves to be a popular and well-supported sport with the OAs – long may it continue.

Membership and Fees
Membership is offered and billed at the start of a child’s career at Ardingly. We believe that all pupils benefit from being a member of the Old Ardinians throughout their lives. This website will enable even more pupils to become involved in the society, no matter where they live or what they do.
