The Ardingly College Masonic Lodge
The lodge was consecrated on 5th May 1922, by the then Grand Secretary, P Colville Smith. In October that year the Lodge received its Hall Stone Jewel at a meeting of Grand Lodge in the Albert Hall. The Lodge also became one of the Founding Lodges for the building of the Royal Masonic Hospital in 1927.
In 1958 the Lodge was admitted to the Public Schools Lodges Council, which also includes another Woodard School, Lancing College.
The Lodge meets in London in October, December and March, and at the school in June. All Freemasons are welcome to come as visitors to our meetings - contact the Secretary ardingly@ardinglycollegelodge.org.uk for details or visit www.ardinglycollegelodge.org.uk
The next Lodge meeting, to which all Masons will be welcome, is at Freemason's Hall, London, at 5pm on Wednesday 7 March 2012, followed by dinner at the Freemasons Arms nearby. We'll be hosting open drinks and nibbles at the College on OA Day (Monday 7th May). Then we meet and dine at Ardingly on Saturday 16 June. Further details from Lodge Assistant Secretary Paul Wolff.
Admission to the Lodge is open to male members of the OA Society as well as to others with a sufficient connection to or with Ardingly College, subject to Masonic guidelines.
